Welcome to the Get Fit & Stay Fit concept
At the Training Studio, our mission is simple – To help every participant GET FIT and teach them the tools to STAY FIT for the rest of their life. We offer comprehensive advice on the entire concept of fitness. Fitness cannot be achieved by just performing the type of exercise that you enjoy or prefer. Instead, fitness is a lifestyle change that must include all pieces of the puzzle. This lifestyle change can only be achieved by teaching, and utilizing proper nutrition, stretching, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and lifestyle enhancement.
We utilize the concepts of functional training, periodization, balance and proprioception to maximize neuromuscular and cardiovascular development. The exercises involved are multi-joint and multi-planar in nature, thus allowing for a greater degree of carryover to real-life situations. Participants will learn how to use kettlebells, barbells, TRX, ropes, slosh pipes and various other functional fitness devices.
Our public GETFIT series is made up of two different strength sessions (GET MOVING & GET STRONG/LEAN), a stretching session (GET LIMBER) and a quarterly fitness test (GET TESTED). See the descriptions below. Please keep in mind that all classes can be slightly modified to accommodate all levels, just make sure you read the descriptions below to get started in the right direction.
