Coach Jake is at it again. Most of you by now have experienced the wrath of one of our new coaches at The Training Studio – River road facility, Coach Jake. His vast experience and passion for helping people GETFIT have made him an exciting and refreshing new addition to our staff.
He is wasting no time making new friends by initiating a 100 Day Pushup Challenge, starting today (June 11). The rules are very simple; participants start with one pushup on day 1, 2 on day 2, 3 on day 3 and so on, up to day 100. One more little tidbit of info, anything done during your normal workout at TS does NOT count. All of these pushups must be done on your own. These numbers are a cumulative total for the day, meaning when the numbers start climbing, you can break them up into smaller sets. Who’s in!!! We have another exciting addition to our staff to discuss. Coach Emily comes to us with an extensive background in yoga, stretching and holistic nutrition. Several of you may have already enjoyed her “Get Limber” stretch sessions. Did you know that she also offers private stretching appointments? This is an exciting new service that I know several of you could benefit from. In keeping with the GETFIT & STAYFIT theme, Coach Emily has been gracious enough to develop a new section of the newsletter called “Get Chill”. This section is designed to help people lower their stress levels with some quick and easy tips. Be looking out for these simple tips for a healthier you.
