My experience with personal fitness training began as a client of The Training Studio. Seeing the changes it made in my own life led me to want to do the same for others. Thus, I began my pursuit towards certification as a personal trainer. In 1999, I received my certification through The American Council on Exercise. Since then, I have had the privilege of providing safe, creative and challenging programs designed to help others achieve their goals. Being an aging “baby boomer” myself (with bilateral hip replacements), my annual continuing education has been primarily focused on this specific demographic. As a result, I have created a reputation in the local area as the “go to” person for the aging adult trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. No matter the age, it is never too late to invest time in your health through proper exercise and nutrition.
It is an honor to help young and “older” alike achieve their goal of living a healthier life. Certifications: Certified Personal Trainer: American Council on Exercise- since 1999 Adult/Infant/Child CPR Certified – American Red Cross AED certified – American Red Cross
