At the Training Studio, our mission is simple – To help every participant GET FIT and teach them the tools to STAY FIT for the rest of their life.
Our approach to fitness is very comprehensive. We incorporate functional training, periodization, balance and proprioception to maximize neuromuscular and cardiovascular development.
The exercises involved are multi-joint and multi-planar, which maximize carryover to real-life situations.
Participants will learn how to use kettlebells, barbells, TRX, ropes, slosh pipes and various other functional fitness devices.
30 Day Kickstart program
Our 30 day kickstart program is specifically designed to educate and teach participants how to build confidence with sustainable, life-changing fitness.
One of the reasons why The Training Studio is unique from other training facilities is because we employ functional movements – multi-joint movements that closely replicate those found in sports or life, and which strengthen and engage an entire kinetic chain instead of an individual muscle or muscle group.
Because these movements can be complex, and are often unfamiliar to those new to the sport, they often require a fair amount of instruction before they can be employed safely and effectively.
Our Kickstart program not only affords this instruction, but also the opportunity for people to apply what they’ve learned.

Educational, Engaging, and fun, the TS Kickstart Program curriculum involves theory and practical work.
The integrated curriculum provides participants with:
- The ability to safely and effectively perform/employ all the movements used in the TS programs. Covered topics include body-weight exercises, efficient rowing form, plyometric, olympic, kettlebell and TRX movements;
- A general understanding of the musculoskeletal biomechanics associated with/involved in the functional exercises used in the TS programs;
- Awareness of general flexibility and/or mobility restrictions which could potentially impede their progress;
- Basic soft-tissue maintenance tools essential for remaining limber, healthy, and injury-free.
- Nutrition concepts required for long-term success
Details
The Training Studio Fundamentals Group Session is:
- Eight 30 minute classes held at The Training Studio (River Road). Two classes are held each week at a pre-determined time for four straight weeks. Each of the eight classes follows a set curriculum, and covers unique subject matter. Participants can choose Tuesday/Thursday at 7am or Tuesday/Thursday at 5pm. Keep in mind that this program expires in exactly 4 weeks, regardless of participation.
- During the four week period, participants are also provided with a modified membership to both TS locations. Class types are limited to specific classes that are “beginner-friendly”.
- This is a mandatory requirement for full/unrestricted membership at The Training Studio. All new inquiries must complete this program before joining.
- The cost is $150, regular price is $250. This offer is only available through FACEBOOK for a limited time.
- We are only allowing 5 registrations for each session. That means 5 for the morning session (7am) and 5 for the evening session (5pm). You can choose your time during the purchase.
