Ok, here we go again. One more big dress rehearsal before we participate in the Mini Marathon. In light of the mini marathon course changes, this weeks Papa John’s 10 miler will probably be more difficult for most of you because of the hills. Relax at the start and settle comfortably into your race pace, give the hills their due respect, and then let it rip out of the park to the finish line. Don’t forget to save a little gas in the tank for that last “speed bump” on the overpass approaching the stadium.
We are not meeting for our regularly scheduled group run/walk at The Training Studio this Saturday.
Here are some last minute things to check out for this weekend.
We plan to meet as a group in front of the baseball stadium around 7:30am for a nice group picture. The baseball stadium is located just behind Papa John’s field on the other side of the railroad tracks. Use this meeting to connect with your training partners.
