
Here are some more details about our Open House coming up on July 13th, 2019.
Several different activities are planned for the entire morning. We will have live music, healthy snacks (provided by The Cheddar Box) and lots of opportunities to finally watch your coaches workout. Existing members are encouraged to workout with us during several small high intensity sessions.
Use this opportunity to show some of your friends who we are and what we do. This is also our way of saying “Thank you” to existing members for trusting us with your fitness.
Here is the tentative schedule of events:
7:30am – Hosting the TS run group for a short 3-4 mile run
8:30am – Ken Combs Running Store and Saucony will be on hand for a shoe demo with prizes and giveaways
9:00am – KORT Partners in Physical Therapy will offer free injury screenings.
9:00am – Death by Burpee competition. Everyone is invited to join the coaches for this exciting 15-18 minute short but intense workout.
9:30am – 30 minute seminar called “How to maximize your workout experience”, hosted by Coach Foland
10:00am – EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) workouts. We have a series of (4) eight minute workouts to showcase. Participation with the coaches is encouraged.
- Slosh pipe sit-up vs. Kettlebell Single Arm snatch
- Toes to Bar vs. Box Overs
- Plyo push up vs. Kettlebell plyo deadlift
- Wall Ball w/air squat vs. Dive Bomb push ups
10:30am – The 30 day Eating Challenge. Learn the single most powerful habit for body transformation. This simple tool can help you eat less, look and feel better, learn what “hungry” and “full” ACTUALLY feel like and derail binge eating. Presented by Dale Benedict and 75 Nutrition 25 Exercise.
11:00am – 5K row competition. We are trying to put together 5 teams of 5 people to compete. Each participant will complete 500 meters at a time, cycling through twice. Member participation is encouraged on this one. We need at least 17 people to join us, men and women. The teams will be organized to make it fair but competitive. If you would like to join us, please respond to this email with your predicted 500 meter pace (just to make sure we even the teams out).
11:30 – Wrap up, door prizes, etc.
