What is your purpose/reason for working out?
My purpose/reason for working out is to stay in shape for my sport. I feel myself getting a lot stronger each time I go to the training studio, which has helped me improve so much during my seasons. Exercise in general has helped me through a lot of difficult situations in life, and always leaves me feeling strong and happy!
What made you choose TS?
My older sister had been working out at the training studio for awhile, which first got me interested. Once I found the sport I wanted to pursue, I realized there was more I could be doing to be a better athlete. That is when I decided to sign myself up!
What services do you utilize at TS?
I participate in the “Train Like A Girl” program but also include small group training some mornings before school.
What milestones, accomplishments or goals have you achieved since joining TS?
At the Training Studio, I have reached a lot of goals that I never imagined having before. By training, I have reached my personal goals of being on the state cross country team, and becoming a college athlete! There were so many exercises and weights that seemed very intimidating, and now they are no problem!
What do you like most about TS?
The thing I like the most about TS is the emphasis of no judgement. Each person is at different levels, but there is no pressure or intimidation. Nothing comes easy, and it takes time to reach your goals. Every trainer is very aware of their clients and makes sure that they stay safe, yet are still challenged.
How long have you been a member of TS?
I have been a member of TS for about a year and a half!
What motivates you to continue working out?
The feeling I get after completing every workout at the Training Studio always motivates me to continue training. Seeing how all the work pays off in my sport makes me want to continue coming back! Knowing that I am going to be running in college proves how helpful TS has been for me.
Did you know we offer a strength training program specifically designed for young girls?
Our “Train like a GIRL”program is focused toward competitive, athletic girls (ages 12-18) who are interested in gaining strength, power and core stability between seasons or before heading off to college.
This leading edge training technique, utilized by world class athletes, is based on core strength, balance, and body stabilization.

We are currently offering strength sessions on Tuesday and Thursday’s at 4:00pm and Saturday’s at 11:00am at our River Road location.
