Congrats to everyone that participated this past weekend in the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Anthem 5K. We saw a lot of friendly faces out there. I also saw a lot of great finish times posted. This race is a great opportunity to recognize the “2 minute rule” regarding your pacing on the long runs. If you indeed pushed yourself to your limits then your race pace should be approximately 2 minutes faster than your long run pace on Saturdays. If you cannot create that 2 minute gap, then you may be running a little too fast on the weekends. Just a friendly FYI.

The mileage this week is 10 miles for everyone. Click HERE to view a map of the course. Don’t forget that next weekend (3/23) is the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown, Rodes City Run. Take some time to study the City Run race website for important information regarding packet pick-up, course info, restrooms, etc..
