Time for another well deserved break from the long mileage. I heard several people struggled last weekend. The humidity was more than likely the culprit. If you feel your issues were nutrition or hydration related, please reach out to myself or Stacey with any questions about fueling, hydration, etc. We are always happy to help. One last thing, myself and Stacey will be pre-occupied this week with the upcoming Dragon Boat races, so we will not be running and will not be available after the run. We will however, be there to send you off and get your started. My son Bowen will be on hand to greet you as you finish. Enjoy the low mileage but slightly hilly course this week.

If you are interested in participating in a mini marathon this fall, we would like to recommend the Fall Runathon series. Use the following bullet points to help you decide which schedule to use.
- Is this your first race of this distance? If YES, use beginner
- Are you willing to do speed-work and add a fourth day of running? If YES, jump to the Intermediate schedule
- If you have run this distance several times, want to increase your speed and are willing to put in the time, then proceed to the Advanced schedule.
- If you want to run recreationally to stay in shape and don’t really care about finish times, stick with the Beginner schedule.
