WE ARE NOT MEETING AT THE STUDIO THIS WEEKEND. WE ARE ALL PLANNING TO ATTEND THE CITY RUN 10K INSTEAD.
The second leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running takes place this weekend with the Rodes City Run.
Don’t forget to pick up your race packet Friday between 11-7 at Slugger field. The race officially starts at 8am, so we are planning to meet at 7:30am on the corner of 2nd & Broadway (in the McDonalds parking lot). The goal is to get a large group picture before the race. Take some time to study the race website (rodescityrun.com) for other important information. I would study the route and road closings to plan ahead when parking. Don’t forget that this particular race does not start and finish at the same place. My recommendation would be to park close to the finish line and walk to the start. You do not want to get blocked in by the race.
One more bit of advice, if it’s cold out try to wear something underneath your TS shirt so we can see everyone’s shirt. Oh yeah, don’t forget to also pin your number below the logo. Sorry to be picky, we just want maximum exposure for the group as a whole.
Several people have been asking various questions about stretching, so I have decided to re-post a video that Stacey and I shot a while back. This video goes over some basic stretches that everyone should be doing on a daily basis.
