Great showing this past weekend for that lovely (only slightly hilly) 10 mile course. It was nice to beat the weather for a change. With the Rodes City Run this weekend, we will not be meeting Saturday at The Training Studio. Instead we will plan to meet at our usual meeting spot for this race (McDonalds parking lot at the corner of 2nd & Broadway). The race starts at 8am, so try to meet up with your running buddies and get a nice group photo around 7:30am. They changed the course this year as a result of the bridge construction downtown. Be sure to study the course online when deciding where to park. They will actually start and finish close to the same spot this year. They also moved the start line east a little down Broadway close to 1st street. Don’t forget to wear your TS shirt and smile big for the camera.
I hope most of you got a chance to pick up your shirts and other goodies. Special “Thanks” once again to Ken Combs Running Store and Smartwool for the extra treat. All of the free socks are now gone.
